At VidaFitz, we respect your privacy. We collect the following information:

• Account Information: Name and email address when you register for an account.
• Phone Number: When you voluntarily provide it, for example during certain challenge registrations.
• Health and Fitness Data: Age, sex, height, current weight, goal weight, body measurements (waist, hips, arms), activity level, fitness level, fitness goals, available equipment, physical limitations or injuries, dietary restrictions, mood, and daily habit check-ins (water intake, meals, exercise, mindset).
• Progress Photos: Before and after photos that you choose to upload to track your transformation.
• Food Photos: Photos of food that you submit for AI-powered nutritional analysis.
• Steps and Fasting Data: Daily step counts and intermittent fasting history (start time, end time, duration).
• Challenge Registration Data: Full name, age, email, phone, current weight, and weight-loss goal when you register for a challenge.
• Messages and Questions: Contact messages and questions you submit through the app.
• Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card or bank details.

All health and fitness data is optional — you choose what to share.

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve our fitness and wellness services.
• Generate personalized meal plans, workout plans, recipes, and coaching messages based on your goals and data.
• Analyze food photos and provide nutritional information.
• Track your progress, including weight, measurements, habits, steps, and fasting.
• Process challenge registrations and communicate with you about your participation.
• Process subscription payments securely through Stripe.
• Send you updates, motivational content, and important notifications.
• Respond to your questions and contact messages.

VidaFitz uses artificial intelligence to provide several features:

• Meal Plan Generator: Uses your health data (age, sex, weight, height, activity level, dietary restrictions) to create a personalized meal plan.
• Workout Plan Generator: Uses your fitness level, goals, available time, equipment, and physical limitations to create a workout plan.
• Food Analysis: Uses the food photo you submit to estimate calories, macronutrients, and a health score.
• Recipe Generation: Generates recipe suggestions based on your preferences.
• Daily Coach: Generates motivational coaching messages tailored to your progress.
• In-App Assistant (Iris): An AI assistant that can answer your questions within the app.

To provide these features, certain information you provide — including your health and fitness information and food photos — may be processed by third-party AI services through Base44. These features process the information described above to provide the requested functionality.

We DO NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

We share information only with the following categories of service providers:

• Stripe: Processes subscription payments. Your card data is handled directly by Stripe and never stored by VidaFitz.
• Base44 and AI Service Providers: Our app is built and hosted on the Base44 platform, which provides infrastructure and connects to third-party AI services that power our meal plans, workout plans, food analysis, recipes, coaching, and in-app assistant.
• Hosting and Infrastructure Providers: Store your account data and app content.
• Email Services: Used to send notifications and respond to your inquiries when you contact us.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

• Payment information is processed by Stripe, which handles card data securely.
• Your account is protected by your login credentials managed by our authentication provider.
• Your data is stored by our hosting provider (Base44).
• Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel.

No method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The VidaFitz Android app declares the following device permissions:

• Camera: Used to take photos of food for AI-powered nutritional analysis, and to capture before/after progress photos. Access is requested only when you choose to use these features, and you may decline or revoke it at any time.
• Microphone, Phone, Contacts, and Bluetooth: These permissions are declared by our app's build platform. VidaFitz does not actively use these features, does not request runtime access to them, and does not collect any information through them.
• Location: VidaFitz does not access your location or use location services.

You can manage or revoke permissions at any time from your device settings (Settings → Apps → VidaFitz → Permissions).

We generally retain your personal and health data while your account is active and as needed to provide our services. When you delete your account, we delete the associated data as described below, except for information that may be retained by third-party providers or that must be retained for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes. When you delete your account through the app:

• We delete your account record, progress data, measurements, photos, meal plans, workout plans, step history, fasting history, challenge registrations, messages, questions, and testimonials associated with your account.
• We cancel any active Stripe subscription associated with your account.
• Certain Stripe transaction records may be retained by Stripe for legal, tax, and compliance purposes. These records are governed by Stripe's own policies.
• If you submitted a data-deletion request via the public deletion request page, the request record itself may be retained for compliance and audit purposes.

To delete your account, use the "Delete Account" option in the app menu, or submit a request through the Delete Account page on our website.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your account and associated data at any time.
• Opt-out of marketing communications.

The app uses local storage and similar session technologies on your device to:

• Keep your session active.
• Remember your language preference and app settings.
• Store progress data locally when you are not logged in.

These technologies are stored on your device and are not used for advertising or third-party tracking.

VidaFitz is intended for adults over 18 years old. We do not intentionally collect information from minors without parental or guardian consent.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email or notice in the app.
